The Miraculous Penetration Frame |
An
early Royal Magic & Novelty Co. trick which is copyright 1951
and holds Pat. No. 2117809. Comes in its original box and includes
the brownish plastic frame (4 1/8" x 5 3/4") with a clear plastic inside and a small sheet of
instructions. Packed in a 4 3/4" x 6 1/4" box printed in two colors
and depicting the effect. Although this continues to be manufactured
these are believed to be from the original run.
The effect as described in the
instructions:
A solid Plastic Glass in a Plastic Frame is given for examination.
Nothing unusual can be detected.
Two playing or business cards are placed on each side of the frame,
underneath the thin strip, so that the circle in the middle is
perfectly covered. The performer now pierces both cards through the
glass with any borrowed pencil. This can be followed by a silk,
ribbon of knife.
The cards are then removed by the performer and to everyones
amazement, the glass is in perfect condition and the frame again can
be given for examination.

The X-Ray Bells |
An
early Royal Magic & Novelty Co. trick which is copyright 1952. Comes in its original packaging and includes
three metal bells, a yellow knob and a small sheet of
instructions. Packed in a small blue box which states: "Magicians
can see thru them -- No one else can!"
The effect as described in the
instructions:
Spectator hides a knob under one of three bells. Performer finds the
knob each time as if by X-ray vision.

The Color |
An
early Royal Magic (Fun Incorporated) classic probably manufactured
between 1930s-1960s. Comes in its original packaging and includes
three gaffed pieces of colored cardboard and a small sheet of
instructions. Packed in a small plastic wallet.
The effect as described in the
instructions:
You can tell which card has been reversed while your back has been
turned. Explain you can tell which by feeling the color.

Great Number Mystery (Magic Age Cards) |
An
early Royal Magic (Fun Incorporated) classic probably manufactured
between 1930s-1960s. Comes in its original packaging and includes
seven number cards and a small sheet of instructions in a small
plastic wallet. Although the wallet calls the item "The Great Number
Mystery" the instructions identify the item as "Magic Age Cards."
The effect as described in the
instructions:
This is a mind reading act. Tell someone's age or the number of
coins in someone's pocket.
